My name is Morgan Danker. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma, well I am also a freshman. In high school I ran out of classes to take, so I attended college classes to earn credit for high school and college at the same time. I took enough classes to qualify as being a full time student. Now I am in my second semester of living on campus, but with all of my credits I am classified as a sophomore.
I am an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, and it has played a huge role in my life. I am a part of their co-ed high adventure program called Venturing. It is for members from fourteen to twenty-one. The Boy Scouts of America have several leadership programs available for all members. The programs start with National Youth Leadership Training. I attended and staffed this program for five years. The next step up is National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience. I attended and staffed at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for four years. Through these programs, I fell in love with communication, and started my journey of public relations.
I am also a part of a non-profit organization called Leave No Trace. As a Leave No Trace trainer, I share my knowledge of environmental sustainability to others using their lessons.
I believe that everyone is able to help have a positive impact on our environment by changing their lives in small ways. This is what motivates me to do all that I can to help save the world around us. I use my training from Leave No Trace to help guide me in showing others what they can do to help.
I do not have a lot of experience in design, but I use it often to help promote events, and training for the Boy Scouts of America and their leadership programs.
